Don Rieck - attended the Philladelphia Conservatory of music majoring in music theory and arranging. After graduation ,
he joined the faculty of the conservatory and taught classical guitar and music theory for two years. In 1958 Don along with
Jack Williams, founded The Original "Fall Guys". Since the formation of the band, Don has performed on network television,
at conventions, and with many major stars world wide. Don is the primary spokesperson for the group and one of the Fall Guys
and a Gal's six featured lead vocalists. His multi-talents are showcased each night on lead guitar,bass guitar, banjo, and
saxophone.
Stephanie Bates Carson
- Stephanie started her vocal carrer early by making ALL- State and All-Eastern chorus throughout her
high school years. She was the youngest member selected for the original Wolf Trap Company in Vienna, Virginia following a
series of fiercely competitive national auditions. While in Vienna she was often a featured soloist including a concert with
composer, Johnny Green, performing his biggest hit, " Body and Soul." Stephanie went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree
in voice from Lebanon Valley College. She wasthe featured soloist in Concert Choir and the lead in many musical productions
during her college years.Her studies continued with graduate work in church music at the Westminster Choir College in Princeton,
New Jersey. While in College, Stephanie was a finalist in both the Miss Pennsylvania and Miss New Jersey beauty pageants.
For nine years prior to joining The Fall Guys and a Gal. Stephanie starred as the featured lead vocalist with Straight Talk
and Atlantic City Express in Atlantic City. As the female lead vocalist for the Fall Guys and a Gal, she is always in the
spotlight. In addition to co-hosting the groups show with Don Rieck, she is also featured on piano, valve trombone, and tuba.
Jack Williams
- began his musical career in high school where he studied both percussion and keyboard with area bands
and orchestras. Jack continued his studies on the piano,voice and music theory at the Philladelphia Conservatory of Music
where he studied under the noted composer,Vincent Persichetti. Jack has played professionally since 1958 when he and Don Rieck
formed The Original Fall Guys. He has also written and arranged music for The Four Freshmen,Arthur Godfrey's Radio Orchestra
and has published numerous works both popular and classical including " Six Etudes for the guitar" and " Sonatas for flute
and Classical Guitar." With The Fall Guys and a Gal, Jack's talents are spotlighted on vocals, multiple keyboards,trumpet,
bass guitar,rhythm guitar and outrageous pantomimes. Behind the scenes, he functions as the groups primary writer,arranger,and
choreographer.
Tony Michaels
- is a master of percussion, including vibes and tympani, in addition to acquiring an impressive command
of brass, string and keyboard instruments while majoring in music at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. Tony's first
love has always been the drums. His expertise was acknowledged early on as the first prize recipeint in the soloist category
in the National Drum Corp Competition. He has appeared as lead percussionist in numerous New York theatrical productions including:
"Mame," "Fiddler On the Roof," "How to Succeed" and "Fantastics." Tony's contribution to The Fall Guys and a Gal, like all
the other members of the band, showcases an impressive variety of talents. Besides his primary responsibility of the group's
percussionist and often-featured vocalist, he fills in on multiple keyboards and trumpet when needed.
Jimmy C. Carson -
Jimmy has applied himself to mastery of the brass instrument family since 1968, studying under Dr. Donald
S. Reinhardt and then majoring in brass at The Berklee School of Music. Jimmy has been playing professionally since 1970 with
groups such as Boston Electric, Dick Dougherty, Free Spirit, Straight Talk, and was the leader of Atlantic City Express from
1979 to 1985. The Atlantic City Express are the official Ambassadors of Music for the Atlantic City Hotel and Casino Association.
Jimmy has appeared in concert with War, Chuck Mangione, and B.B. King. Jimmy provides The Fall Guys and a Gal with a generous
portion of spirit and energy as well as powerful trumpet, flugelhorn, slide and valve trombone, and vocal artistry.
Jim "Jazz" Maso -
Jim grew up in the small Pocono Mountain town of Pen Argyl, Pennsylvania. He received his musical training
at Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York. After leaving college he joined the United States Navy and continued his educaiton
at the Naval Musical Academy where he also became a member of the faculty. Upon leaving the Navy, Jim moved to L.A. California
where he worked with various motion picture orchestras. He also worked with the Don Ellis big band, Leslie Gore, The Four
Tops, The Temptations and many other such name artists. Jimmy's proficiency on all of the saxophones, flute, clarinet, drums
and vocals plus his confortable stage personality makes him a natural to be a part of The Fall Guys and a Gal.
